Like a playwright writing a script, allow me to introduce the first two characters in this plot...

Michael Dray

A walking dead man, never destined for immortality but forced into it by the machinations of unknown powers.

Pressed into service, driven to seek the unknown, he will uncover a truth at the edge of explored space that will change the lives of everyone around him.

Silas Virpio

A cynical miner with a collar as blue as the ocean and, though he'd never admit it, a heart of gold.

Drawn into shady deals in New Eden's underbelly, he struggles to make a profit while laying aside enough money to support what remains of his family.
